Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also supports the body’s natural ability to heal.

It is offered through gentle, hands-on or hands-above-the-body techniques, and is based on the idea that a subtle life force energy flows through all of us. When this energy feels depleted or out of balance, we may experience stress, fatigue, or disconnection. When it is supported and flowing more freely, we’re more able to feel grounded, calm, and well.

A Reiki session often feels like a warm, calming presence—many people describe sensations such as gentle heat, tingling, or deep relaxation.

Reiki works with the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—and can support:

  • relaxation and nervous system regulation

  • a sense of peace and emotional balance

  • greater connection to self

Reiki is a simple, natural, and non-invasive practice that can be used alongside traditional medical and therapeutic care. It is not a replacement for medical treatment, but a complementary approach that may help ease stress, support recovery, and promote overall wellbeing.
